Henry County Child Care Network at a Glance

The Henry County Child Care Network is a project of HOPE Initiative, a not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. The first care and education facility will be named after Beverly Hankenhoff, an early education advocate and a leader in education who passed away in 2019. Beverly received a master's degree in education from Ball State University. Beverly had a total of forty-five years in education. Beverly was Chairwoman of the Board at CRADLES an early childhood ministry, which was part of the New Castle Vocational Program.  She also initiated the education program at the Henry Youth Center. Beverly participated on the board of HOPE Initiative, guiding team members as they developed a strategic plan to improve quality education and care for all children in New Castle.
